1. Who we are
Valkyrie Dev ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal information we collect through valkyriedev.dev, the client portal, and related services. We are based in the State of Michigan, USA.
2. What we collect
- Account data — name, email, optional phone and company name when you create an account or contact us.
- Project data — briefs, files, idea-board content, feedback, and tasks you submit through the portal.
- Billing data — handled by our payment processor (Stripe); we store the resulting invoice and subscription metadata, not full card numbers.
- Usage data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and similar telemetry collected via cookies (see the Cookie Policy).
- Communications — emails and support tickets you send us.
3. How we use it
We use personal information to provide and improve the Services, fulfil our contract with you, send service emails (auth, billing, project updates), handle support, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and — with your consent — to measure marketing performance.
4. Legal bases (for EEA/UK users)
We rely on: (a) contract for delivering the Services you've signed up for; (b) legitimate interests for security, fraud prevention, and product analytics; (c) consent for non-essential cookies and marketing; and (d) legal obligation for tax, accounting, and law-enforcement requests.
5. Sharing
We share data with sub-processors who help us run the Services, under contractual confidentiality obligations:
- Hosting & database — Supabase / Lovable Cloud
- Payments — Stripe
- Email delivery — Lovable Email infrastructure
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4 (only with your consent)
- Advertising — Meta and LinkedIn pixels (only with your consent)
- SEO data — Google Search Console, SEMrush
6. Retention
We keep account and project data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after for backups, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. You can request deletion at any time (see Your rights below).
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest, role-based access control, row-level security in our database, and signed webhooks for payment events. No system is 100% secure; we will notify affected users without undue delay in the event of a personal-data breach as required by law.
8. International transfers
Our infrastructure providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers from the EEA/UK rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved mechanisms.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (US state privacy laws, GDPR, UK GDPR, etc.) you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, email privacy@valkyriedev.dev or use the data-export and account-deletion tools in your portal settings.
10. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in the portal.
